Infrastructure Skills
Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program

The NSW government has invested in infrastructure and, in conjunction with the construction industry, has established new training opportunities, employment targets, and employment pathways.

 

This funding is ideal for civil construction projects, as it offers specialised skills training opportunities and has the potential to exceed the targets laid out by the government program:

  • On-site skills training for existing workers

  • Increasing the representation of young people, women, and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people within the construction industry

  • Providing employment opportunities for local people

  • Addressing a skills-shortage in NSW

School-Based Apprenticeship & Traineeships (SBAT’s)

As part of this initiative, NX Blue partners with registered and group training organisations to provide school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.

 

This program helps to build the skills of young Australians while offering support and financial incentive for your business growth.

 

Your apprentice or trainee will undertake industry-specialised training while they are employed with you one day per week. Training costs are minimised, training arrangements are flexible to suit your business needs, and we will work alongside you to ensure a safe working environment.

 

By the end of the program, your apprentice or trainee will be ready for full-time employment.
